The world today is beset by a myriad of environmental challenges that threaten humanity in the 21st Century. Climate change, global warming, pollution, deforestation, desertification and outbreak of pandemics such as Covid-19 present life-threatening situations to planetary earth, requiring urgent global actions. The environmental challenges are man-made and human induced.
