Synopsis
This book is a result of the teaching experiences and activities that the authors have been engaged in over a period of two decades. The book is meant for medical students and doctors. However, it is also useful to health personnel at the sub-county, county and national levels. The principles and practices of radiology and imaging are discussed at length as well as the applications of the various imaging modalities. Also the hazards and side effects of the whole practice and how the community can cope with these challenges are enumerated. This book aims to: teach medical students the science and art of medical imaging; update health personnel on the state of the art of medical imaging; educate health delivery personnel on the uses of medical imaging in medical management to improve health; and enable health delivery personnel to improve radiological and imaging community health services.
