Religious and Moral Education

This book is designed to provide a clear understanding of the link between religion, morality and education. It, therefore, provides two broad sections. The first part deals with foundational content focused comprising definitions, the big question on religious education in the education system, the historical development of religious education with special reference to Kenyan’s education dynamics, and the religious and moral growth and development within the philosophical framework for learners in school. The second part of the book introduces the planning for instruction from a professional point of view. It provides perspectives for holistic nurturing of a hands-on, knowledgeable well-grounded teacher of religious education in professional documentation, classroom management, and identification of modern methodological approaches for religious education teachers.
